In September 2002, the North Shore Arts Association presented Remembrance: A Tribute for the 1st Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
This extraordinary exhibition featured works by artists throughout American history who used art to honor the patriotism and noble
sacrifices of the diverse peoples of our nation. Included in the exhibition were works by Walker Hancock, George Aarons, Dean Cornwell,
Margaret Fitzhugh Browne, Eben F. Commins, Anna Hyatt Huntington, Waldo Pierce, John Manship as well as contemporary artists
Judi Rotenberg, Ken Hruby and photographer Nubar Alexanian. Chairman for the exhibition was Richard Bernstein.
On this page we present some of the works displayed at Remembrance.
