The North Shore Arts Association opens for the 2008 Season on May 11. Exhibition I, our first non-juried exhibit, will begin the season. In the Gordon Grant Room, the first in a series of one-artist exhibitions will open with works by artist member Suzanne Brailey.

To celebrate our 85th anniversary the NSAA assembled an outstanding collection of 70 works by distinguished members of the past, some never exhibited in public before. This included works by artists including Cecilia Beaux, Aldro Hibbard, George Demetrios, Charles Grafly, Walker Hancock, Frederick Mulhaupt, Lilian Wescott Hale, W. Lester Stevens, Reynolds Beal, and many more. These works were exhibited alongside the work of contemporary artists of the NSAA, demonstrating that our tradition of making great art continues.
